I'm delighted to have a painting included in this year's International Watercolour Festival in Calgary. Although I won't be attending in person, if you're in Calgary, I highly recommend checking it out. In addition to the exhibition, the festival features demonstrations, workshops, and Plein Air outings, making it a wonderful celebration of watercolour and a great opportunity to connect with artists and fellow art lovers.
For this exhibition, I chose to submit something a little different from my usual landscapes, a figurative painting. It was a rewarding challenge to explore a new subject while continuing to work in watercolour, and I'm excited to have it included alongside so many talented artists.
